PROVIDENCE – It wasn’t easy and it certainly wasn’t pretty but Senior Night ended with a hard-earned victory for the Providence Friars Wednesday night at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.
The Friars shook off a rough shooting start to rally in the second half and nail down a 70-66 win over Creighton. Ben Bentil led the Friars with 27 points and Kris Dunn’s final home game ended with him filling the stat sheet once agin with 17 points, six rebounds and six assists.
