PROVIDENCE – The resurgent Providence College Friars are taking care of business in the Big East.
The Friars grabbed their third win in a row Monday at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center, out-lasting the Butler Bulldogs, 70-60 PC trailed 29-25 at the half but played one of its better halves of the season to lock up the win.
PC improves to 13-6 overall and 4-2 in the Big East. Butler falls to 13-7 overall and 3-4 in conference play.
Kyron Cartwright sparked the Friars once again with his scoring and passing, putting up 16 of his 18 points in the second half.
