Fifth-seed Providence College will hit the road to play fourth-seed Notre Dame next weekend in the Hockey East quarterfinals after sweeping last-place Massachusetts with a 5-1 win at Schneider Arena on Saturday night.
Scott Conway, Vimal Sukumaran, Conor MacPhee, Josh Wilkins and Josh Monk scored for PC (22-9-5), which won the series opener on Friday night. Hayden Hawkey made 21 saves for PC.
