PROVIDENCE — Providence College took care of business on Friday night, reaching the 20-win mark for the third straight season with a workmanlike 4-0 win over UConn at Schneider Arena.
The fifth-ranked Friars received two goals from Brian Pinho and one each from Mark Jankowski and Brandon Tanev. Erik Foley and Kyle McKenzie had two assists apiece.
"We played really well tonight. I think tomorrow night's going to be harder,’’ said PC coach Nate Leaman, who posted his 99th victory with the Friars.
