PROVIDENCE -- Miami University scored twice in 5:21 in the third period and earned a 3-3 tie against Providence College at Schneider Arena on Saturday night.
The Friars led 2-0 after two periods, but the RedHawks cut the lead to one when Ryan Siroky scored a power-play goal at 5:58 of the third period.
PC (12-4-2) responded 13 seconds later on a goal by Bryan Lemos, regaining their two-goal cushion at 6:11. Brandon Duhaime and Josh Wilkins assisted.
Christian Mohs brought the RedHawks (9-7-4) to within a goal with 5:21 left.
With goalie Ryan Larkin (31 saves) on the bench for an extra attacker, Gordie Green fired the puck past Hayden Hawkey (27 saves) and tied the game at three with 1:42 left.
