PROVIDENCE -- Erik Foley and Ben Mirageas scored goals and Hayden Hawkey stopped 24 shots as Providence College rallied for a 2-1 win over Boston College on Friday night at Schneider Arena.
BC (1-4-1) opened the scoring on Connor Moore’s rebound goal at 15:30 of the first period.
The Friars (4-2) tied the game on Foley’s tally at 8:22 of the second period. Spenser Young assisted.
With BC’s Jesper Mattila in the box for slashing, freshman Mirageas scored his first goal as a Friar with 46 seconds left in the second period. Scott Conway and Young were credited with assists.
