WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Karson Kuhlman scored at 57 seconds of the second overtime to give Minnesota-Duluth a 2-1 victory over defending NCAA champion Providence on Friday night in the Northeast Regional semifinals.
The Bulldogs (19-16-5) will face the Boston College-Harvard winner for a spot in the Frozen Four in Tampa, Florida.
Minnesota-Duluth's Tony Cameranesi opened the scoring at 3:18 of the third, and Steven McParland tied for Providence (27-7-4) at 7:22.
