UNCASVILLE, Conn. – The Mohegan Sun Magic was nowhere to be found Sunday for the Providence College Friars.
Even with loads of their fans poised to provide an assist, the Friars proved to be no match for the Michigan Wolverines. The national runners-up continued their impressive start to the season by leading from the opening tip to the final horn and rolling to a 66-47 victory in the championship game of the Hall of Fame Tip Off.
The 18th ranked Wolverines put together an 11-0 run to close the first half and break open a tight game.
