Soon after his team had finished dispatching the Providence Friars into the New Jersey night last week, Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard was asked his opinion on the race for the Big East’s Player of the Year award.
To mild surprise, Willard was quick with an answer. “Josh Hart,” he said. “I love Josh Hart and what he does for his team.”
While a week of games remain, the 10 coaches who vote for yearly awards will be forwarding their picks any day now.
