PROVIDENCE -- These are turbulent times for teams fighting to nail down an invitation to next month’s NCAA Tournament.
Providence College is living it.
Within approximately 24 hours last weekend, the Friars moved up to as high as eighth and dipped as low as 13th in the Pairwise, which mirrors the selection formula used to pick the 16-team tournament field.
PC finally settled in at 11th after the second Beanpot game was over late Monday night, but you can bet they’ll be on the move again depending on what happens this weekend.
“That’s how volatile it is,″ coach Nate Leaman said after practice on Tuesday.
