Mark Divver: PC's Brandon Tanev living the NHL dream with Winnipeg

Just over a month into his rookie season with the Winnipeg Jets, Brandon Tanev is finding that life in the National Hockey League is pretty much everything he hoped it would be.

Tanev, the left winger with the nonstop motor who famously scored the winning goal in Providence College’s upset win in the 2015 Frozen Four, has carved out a role for himself on the fourth line for the Jets, who will make their only stop of the regular season in Boston on Saturday night.

He’s been in the lineup for all 19 games and has chalked up a pair of milestones, scoring his first NHL goal and engaging in his first fight.
