Heading into the weekend, both Brown University’s Brendan Whittet and Providence College’s Nate Leaman are crossing their fingers when it comes to their goalies.
We’ll start with Whittet, whose Bears open their season at Yale on Friday, then host the Bulldogs on Saturday.
Brown, coming off a 4-25-2 schmozzle last year, needs saves. They don’t have to be great saves, where a netminder steals a sure goal, though those are always nice.
