Providence College's Brian Pinho is a member of the Patrice Bergeron generation of New England born-and-bred players, which is to say he's grown up admiring the peerless two-way center of the Boston Bruins.
"I've been a big fan. He's obviously one of the best 200-foot players in the game,'' said Pinho, a junior finance major from North Andover, Mass.
Like Bergeron, Pinho is a right-handed center and a standout at both ends of the rink. He scored 34 points in 34 regular season games this season while going head to head with the best offensive players in Hockey East.
