BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Kris Dunn’s arrival into the National Basketball Association certainly came with plenty of drama Thursday night at the Barclays Center.
Dunn became the highest-drafted Providence Friar since Marvin Barnes (1974) when he was selected fifth overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He enjoyed the time-honored tradition of hugging his family, shaking hands with commissioner Adam Silver and donning a T’Wolves hat for the very first time.
