Jim Donaldson: PC lacrosse squad starting to shine

Providence College lacrosse has never looked better.

Not only do the Friars play at a dazzling new facility – Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium – but the players are getting better with every game.

This is the first season the Friars have had the full complement of scholarships and the benefits of that are very much in evidence.

“I look at this season as a turning point for our program,” said coach Chris Gabrielli, now in his fourth year at PC after having been an assistant at Duke for six seasons.
