Jim Donaldson: It's tourney time for college lacrosse

It’s Conference Tournament Week for the Brown, Bryant, and Providence College lacrosse teams.
But that’s where the similarity ends.
The scenarios facing the Bears, Bulldogs, and Friars couldn’t be more different.
Brown is a lock for the NCAA Tournament. The Bears are ranked second in the country, went undefeated (6-0) in winning the Ivy League championship, and set a school record by winning 13 of 14 games this season. While they very much would like to win the Ivy League tournament, which they’re hosting this Friday night and Sunday afternoon at Stevenson-Pincince Field, a loss would only drop them down a bit when the NCAA tourney seeds and bracket are announced Sunday night.
