It’s November so colder weather, Turkey Day and college basketball are all right around the corner.
On that final note, the Associated Press Top 25 preseason poll is being released Wednesday afternoon. The usual suspects - Duke, Michigan State, Kansas, Kentucky, Arizona, Villanova - will populate the top 10, if not the top five.
This all means nothing, of course. Many of the best programs in the country choose, or are paid by ESPN/Fox, to face one another in the first few weeks of the season. That means great games for fans to tip off the season and early defeats for teams that won’t lose very often.
