A pair of future Providence College players -- and possibly a current player or two -- are expected to be selected in Rounds Two through Seven of the NHL Draft on Saturday (10 a.m., NHL Network).
Defenseman Ben Mirageas, 18, and winger Jack Dugan, 19, look to be the most likely to be picked. Mirageas is ranked 63rd among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting. He will step into the Friar lineup this fall. Dugan, ranked 108th, is due to arrive in 2018.
Two Friars who were passed over in the 2016 draft but could hear their names called on Saturday are winger Josh Wilkins and defenseman Jacob Bryson, both of whom had strong freshmen seasons at PC last winter.
