PROVIDENCE - Providence College freshman Quadree Smith is leaving the program.
Smith, who played in 19 games, scored 33 points and grabbed 20 rebounds for the Friars. A release by PC says Smith is leaving "and will pursue other academic options."
“Quadree’s energetic personality will be missed around the Providence College community,” Providence Head Coach Ed Cooley said. “We appreciate all his contributions to the program this past year. We wish him all the best as he looks to find a school that better fits his academic aspirations.
