PROVIDENCE — Providence College intends to play all of its men’s basketball home games at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in 2020-21.
Friars athletic director Bob Driscoll released a statement through a school spokesperson on Monday. Providence hosted 16 games at The Dunk last season and will continue to utilize the facility pending approval from state government officials.
“We need the state to give us the OK before we can finalize the situation,” Driscoll said.
The Attleboro Sun Chronicle reported Sunday the Friars were considering Mohegan Sun Arena as a possible alternate site.
