The road is where the Friars kick off the Big East portion of their schedule on Wednesday night with a trip to #17 Xavier.
Chris Mack’s group is once again one of the top teams in the country. Following a 2015-16 season in which they finished 28-6 and earned an #2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, Mack’s group is sitting pretty heading into conference play with the 4th best RPI in the nation. Xavier is one of four Big East schools with an RPI in the top ten nationally, along with Villanova, Creighton and PC’s opponent this weekend, Butler.
