At first glimpse, a visit to the Cintas Center to play eighth-ranked Xavier can only be described as a daunting task.
While that’s certainly a fitting description for the job at hand for Providence when the No. 23 Friars roll into Cincinnati on Wednesday night, Ed Cooley’s team sees something else.
“It is a great opportunity game and we’ve played well on the road. When we’ve been healthy, we’ve been as good as any team in America on the road,” Cooley said. “That’s the positives that we’re emphasizing.
