PROVIDENCE — The Friars are certainly fortunate that Kyron Cartwright has been both healthy and ready for action over the last week.
For the second straight game Cartwright stepped in and started at point guard with Kris Dunn out with a stomach ailment. Dunn was expected to be ready to play against Rider Saturday night but he complained of stomach problems earlier in the day and did not go through the pregame walk-through. By the time the team arrived at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center for the game, Dunn never made it into his uniform.
