PROVIDENCE — Coach Ed Cooley knows A.J. Reeves is good, but wants people to know that without him the Providence men’s basketball team is going to survive.
“Y’all got A.J. in the NBA already. He’s just an OK player,” said Cooley of his injured leading scorer. “We have some guys on our roster that do a really good job.”
Maliek White is one of them.
With Reeves out for at least a month because of a foot injury, White stepped into the starting role and the Friars didn’t miss a beat.
