CHICAGO — The Friars chose to roll with their seniors in the first Big East road game of the season. The move paid off handsomely.
Seniors Maliek White, Luwane Pipkins and Emmitt Holt all came up big in Saturday's 66-65 win at DePaul. White snapped out of a funk and threw in 16 points to help PC’s bench out-score DePaul’s, 26-8. He played 27 minutes as coach Ed Cooley chose to ride the hot hand.
“I just got the ball in places I was comfortable,” White said. “My teammates found me and I was fortunate enough for it to go in.
