PROVIDENCE — There was only a little rest for the weary.

A slow start by Providence on Saturday suggested a hangover from its Thursday night game at Ohio State. But rather than getting a break to recover, the Friars were scheduled to get right back on the court on Monday night in the second game of the Emerald Coast Classic, this time against St. Francis Brooklyn. Only after that will the Friars get back-to-back days off.

Providence coach Ed Cooley said his plan was to have the team watch film on Sunday morning and then practice Sunday evening in advance of the Monday game.
