NEWARK, N.J. — When asked Monday about sitting idle for eight days between games, Providence College players and staff members didn’t seem too concerned.
The Friars’ track record in that area suggests a reason to be confident. Providence entered Wednesday night’s game against Seton Hall 3-0 this season when having six or more days of rest. The Friars last took the floor on Jan. 23, losing 89-69 at No. 1 Villanova.
“We come out and play our best when we have time off and we watch a team a few times,” Providence forward Rodney Bullock said.
