PROVIDENCE — After his team’s Monday morning shootaround, Minnesota coach Richard Pitino delayed a lunch and his pregame nap. He had to take a drive in search of some special memories.
The 2005 Providence College grad drove to campus and saw the dramatic changes that have transformed the school in recent years. He says his time at PC both as a student and as a toddler when his father, Rick, was blazing through town like a comet in 1985-87 remain special.
“I drove over to campus and went down memory lane,” he said.
