PROVIDENCE — The Friars have avoided ugly losses at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Ed Cooley’s seven seasons and the coach would like to keep it that way.
Cooley said he “won’t watch one minute, not one second,” of Saturday’s 80-63 loss to DePaul. He’s hoping his players will move on as quickly, especially with No. 1 ranked Villanova set to make its yearly visit to The Dunk on Wednesday.
“You can’t go in there and be a maniac. You have to show great leadership and great poise and encourage your guys to step up to the next challenge,” Cooley said.
