PROVIDENCE — Even with the dawn of another season, Providence College was happy to look ahead a bit in the last few days.

The four members of PC’s 2018 recruiting class all filed their letters-of-intent. David Duke (of Providence), A.J. Reeves (Roxbury, Mass.), Jimmy Nichols (Conway, S.C.) and Kris Monroe (Raleigh, N.C.) all followed up their verbal commitments by signing their letters.

The class has a wide variety of skills. Duke is seen as an explosive guard and high-end athlete. The 6-foot-5 Reeves is a shot maker with a strong body. Nichols is a long, wiry 6-8 athlete and Monroe offers some shooting punch from the wing.
