QUEENS, N.Y. – As the Friars grind their way through the Big East wars, the unique double round robin format can pay some dividends in the preparation department.
After facing Xavier last weekend, PC has faced each of its other nine conference brothers at least once. Now comes the hard part, according to the coaches and players. Beating any team a second time is always difficult and that was the charge Wednesday night at St. John’s. PC has faced two other opponents twice and flipped defeats by securing season splits with wins over both Butler and Creighton.
