Friars hoping momentum from Marquette win carries over to home game against No. 4 Villanova

PROVIDENCE - There was little time to celebrate a first Milwaukee victory in Providence College's basketball history.

The Friars escaped the Bradley Center with a 79-78 triumph over Marquette on Saturday only to find a more daunting challenge awaiting the next time they take the floor.

No. 4 Villanova, the defending national champion, is headed to the Dunkin' Donuts Center for Wednesday night's tip. The Wildcats are less than two weeks removed from rather comfortably handling Providence in their Philadelphia home, and producing an upset is the only option the Friars have to extend whatever momentum they hoped to build by grounding the Golden Eagles.
