ANAHEIM, Cal . – This trip to Disneyland has become an ugly California misadventure for the Providence College Friars.
Providence lost for the second straight day Friday, this time a 63-55 defeat at the hands of the College of Charleston. The Friars couldn’t survive game-long offensive woes that saw Ed Cooley’s team skid through too many ugly patches and shoot 34 percent for the day.
PC (4-4) will play in the seventh place game of the Wooden Legacy Sunday (time and opponent not announced yet).
By then Cooley and his staff will hope to have some answers to a start of a season that’s spinning out of control much too early.
