PROVIDENCE - Barring a long, victorious run through the heart of March Madness, the current group of seniors on the Providence College basketball team is still searching for a lasting legacy.
Over the last four seasons the Friars have won plenty of games (77-55) but stalled once the calendar flipped to March. In the last three post-seasons, the Friars are 3-3 in the Big East Tournament, 0-2 in the NCAA’s and 0-1 in the NIT.
The good news is there is still time. Four-year regulars Alpha Diallo, Kalif Young and Maliek White are joined in the outgoing class by graduate students Emmitt Holt and Luwane Pipkins.
