PROVIDENCE — The Friars’ biggest and smallest players share both a dormitory room and some sweet chemistry.
Looking for a spark for his team’s offense, coach Ed Cooley inserted 6-foot (maybe) Kyron Cartwright into the starting five against Butler on Tuesday night. All he did was respond with 13 points, including three 3-pointers, in the first half. When he wasn’t making shots, Cartwright was looking for big man Ben Bentil, who finished with a team-high 20 points in PC's 71-68 victory.
