PROVIDENCE — There are few feelings more comforting for a college basketball coach than a home game. Just ask Ed Cooley.
Cooley has said how much he loves playing games at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in his eight seasons on the bench. He’s professed a desire to play every game in downtown Providence but, thankfully, the NCAA’s rules would frown on such a schedule.
After losing his first game of this season last Friday against Wichita State at the U.S. Naval Academy, Cooley is indeed happy to be back at The Dunk on Tuesday when Holy Cross comes to town.
