ESPN’s Jay Bilas says ACC should have its eyes set on Madison Square Garden

The Atlantic Coast Conference is invading the Big East's turf in New York this week and at least one notable observer is pushing for a permanent move north.

Jay Bilas, the ESPN analyst and ex-Duke player, says the ACC will enjoy the Barclays Center in Brooklyn but should set its eyes on Madison Square Garden.

"I think Madison Square Garden would be the perfect place for the ACC Tournament permanently," Bilas said. "I know the old guard in North Carolina will scream tradition, tradition. Things change. If we're going to have 16 teams and be this behemoth of a conference, the big stage is in New York.
