PROVIDENCE - With February right around the corner and the sight of March basketball beginning to come into focus, the games are rising in importance for Providence.
Beginning with Wednesday's contest against St. John's at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, the Friars have 10 games remaining. Six will come at home where the Friars are 11-1. Maybe more important, three of the six come against teams in the Top 25 and give the Friars a chance to boost a resume that is lacking in NCAA Tournament-worthy victories.
Ed Cooley says he hasn't taken his eye off what would be a fourth straight NCAA tourney for the Friars (13-8, 3-5 Big East).
