PROVIDENCE — The defending national champions, a coach with deep Providence College roots and an Ivy League champion celebrating its first NCAA Tournament in 54 years highlight the group of teams that will be coming to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center this week.
The NCAA announced its 68-team field on Sunday and the eight teams sent to Providence are a glitzy group. The Duke Blue Devils, the reigning national champions, are the headliners.
