It didn’t take long for Jyare Davis to know he wanted to become a Friar.
Davis, a 6-6 forward from Hockessin, Del., visited PC last month and came away wide-eyed. On Sunday night he verbally committed to join Ed Cooley’s program next fall.
“I got there not knowing what to expect,” Davis said, “but there was an overwhelming sense of family. Everyone seemed to have a genuine feeling of love for one another.”
Davis is a three-star recruit according to most rating services and was very highly-regarded as a sophomore and junior.
