PROVIDENCE – David Duke will remember his 18th birthday forever.
Duke, who first rose to prominence as a Classical High basketball star, celebrated his birthday Friday by settling a heated recruiting race and choosing to attend Providence College. He announced his decision via a short video his Twitter and Instagram accounts, both of which instantly lit up with well-wishes from Friar fans.
“I am blessed to have many colleges with very prestigious basketball history recruit me over this long journey,” Duke said in the video. “Every one of my final schools gives me a great shot at my biggest goal.
