NEW YORK – After four games Ed Cooley is admittedly still getting a feel for his team but so far his touch juggling a deep bench has been superb.
It’s become clear that Cooley isn’t afraid to dip deep into what is easily the most versatile bench he’s worked with in his seven years at Providence. The challenge will be finding just who to put his finger on.
In each of the Friars’ games, Cooley’s rotations have changed with the opponent. Matchups, and even feel, may trump a set rotation as the coaching staff mixes and matches its options in both the backcourt and up front.
