PROVIDENCE — If there’s any truth to the old axiom that college sports fans fret more over misses than exult over wins on the recruiting trail, Providence College basketball followers are a bit uneasy this week.
On Monday the Friars missed out on one of their priorities in the 2017 recruiting class when point guard Makai Ashton-Langford of Worcester chose Connecticut over Providence.
