PROVIDENCE — Kris Dunn's trophy case is filling up rapidly. Ben Bentil's is just getting started.
The Providence Friars teammates both won major awards on Monday as Dunn grabbed the second Big East Defensive Player of the Year award of his career, while Bentil was named the league's Most Improved Player. Dunn becomes just the third non-center to win multiple Defensive Player of the Year awards in the Big East, joining Georgetown's Allen Iverson and former Friar John Linehan.
