After the hugs and tears came to an end, after Kris Dunn had finished with some heartfelt words of thanks to his teammates and after the uniforms and sneakers were packed away one final time, the Providence Friars left PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C., early Sunday morning to face a new era.
The Friars’ exit from the NCAA Tournament with a 85-66 second-round loss to North Carolina late Saturday night certainly had a sense of finality to it.
Kris Dunn has played his last game as a Friar.
