BELFAST, Northern Ireland — Devin Brosseau had a goal and an assist and goalie Jake Kielly picked up his 12th victory of the season with 20 saves as fifth-ranked Clarkson won the Friendship Four on Saturday afternoon with a 4-2 victory over Providence at SSE Arena.
Clarkson, which also beat Providence, 4-0, on Oct. 21, improved to 12-3-1 while Providence fell to 8-5-1.
Providence took an early 1-0 lead before Clarkson responded by scoring the next four goals. The Friars’ Erik Foley scored his seventh goal of the season off a Brian Pinho assist at 10:16 of the first period.
