BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Bills safety Micah Hyde will miss the rest of the 2022 season because of a neck injury, he confirmed on social media on Saturday.
Hyde was officially placed on injured reserve Saturday. He was not at practice throughout the week but did make a brief appearance in the locker room.
"Thank you so much for the love and support you've shown me and my family. It is truly unreal," Hyde tweeted Saturday. "Bills Mafia, we love you! #23in23"
Earlier Saturday, Hyde's agent, Jack Bechta, wrote on Twitter that a healthy return in 2023 is expected for Hyde, who is under contract with the Bills through next season.
