PROVIDENCE — He walked into The Dunk last Saturday night while a young Friars team was playing its first preseason game of the year.
Ben Bentil, who in a perfect basketball world would have been a junior at Providence College this year, took a seat in the front row wearing dark clothes and a big black hat.
It almost seemed symbolic.
For if you put Bentil on this young PC team everything changes.
But last spring he announced he was putting his name into the NBA Draft. So what if he was just a sophomore at the time.
