    EAST GREENWICH — It started for me when I was trying to find Ed Cooley's house on Friday night.
    So I parked in front of a small convenience store on South County Trail to ask for directions, and there in the car next to me was former Providence College basketball coach Pete Gillen.
    Talk about symbolism.
    Cooley's house, a brick beauty that Jay Gatsby once might have lived in if he had been a successful college basketball coach, was home to an unofficial reunion of the Friars' basketball program.
