INDIANAPOLIS — For the last six weeks, Ben Bentil says he’s been an avid scoreboard watcher. Providence College’s big man couldn’t wait to cheer any wins by a Big East team.
Now that nonconference play has ended, Bentil’s outlook will change. After watching the Big East polish its national contender profile once again, it’s time for the Friars to measure where they fit in the league’s competitive mix.
“I’m very, very impressed,” Bentil said of the rest of the conference.
